Job Description

Oiler

The Oiler assists engine officers in maintaining and operating engine room machinery. Responsibilities include lubricating moving parts, monitoring equipment condition, cleaning machinery spaces, and helping ensure smooth engine operations during voyages.

Fitter

The Fitter is responsible for repair and fabrication work onboard. Duties include welding support, steel repair, pipe maintenance, and assisting the engineering department with technical maintenance tasks to keep vessel equipment in proper condition.

Bosun

The Bosun supervises deck crew activities and ensures deck operations are carried out safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include maintenance planning, mooring operations, cargo preparation assistance, and monitoring deck maintenance work.

Able Seaman (AB)

The Able Seaman supports navigational watch duties and performs general deck operations. Tasks include steering assistance, lookout duty, cargo securing, mooring operations, deck maintenance, and safety equipment handling.

Cook
