Job Description

Crew members selected for these positions will be responsible for ensuring safe vessel operations, navigation management, cargo handling, machinery maintenance, and compliance with international maritime standards.

Deck Department Responsibilities

Chief Officer (C/O)

  • Supervise cargo loading and unloading operations
  • Ensure cargo safety and stability during voyages
  • Manage deck crew activities and maintenance schedules
  • Conduct safety drills and implement safety procedures
  • Assist the Master in vessel operation and administration

Second Officer (2/O)

  • Responsible for voyage planning and navigation charts
  • Maintain navigational equipment and publications
  • Handle bridge watchkeeping duties
  • Monitor vessel route and weather conditions
  • Assist in safety and communication procedures

Third Officer (3/O)

  • Perform bridge watchkeeping duties
  • Maintain safety equipment and lifesaving appliances
