Job Description – Able Seaman

The Able Seaman is responsible for assisting deck officers and supporting operational activities onboard. Candidates applying for this role should have experience in deck maintenance, navigational watchkeeping, and general cargo operations.

Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting during mooring and unmooring operations
  • Performing deck maintenance such as painting, cleaning, and rust removal

Main Responsibilities

  • Lubricating machinery and mechanical equipment

  • Reporting machinery abnormalities to engineering officers

For Oiler
