📋 Job Description
- Deck Operations: Assist in the handling of cargo, including loading, stowing, securing, and unloading of perishable goods. Ensure that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on deck equipment and facilities, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs. Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Watchkeeping: Stand watch duties as assigned, including lookout and steering duties during navigation. Maintain vigilant observation for potential hazards and report any irregularities to the Officer on Watch.
- Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety and security protocols on board. Participate in safety drills and emergency response procedures. Ensure personal safety and the safety of others at all times.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with fellow crew members and officers to ensure the smooth operation of the vessel. Report any issues or concerns promptly.
